Brushed cotton FLANNEL fabric has a softer warmer touch than standard cotton. With a slightly fleecy feel. Often used to make cosy pyjamas, or bed clothes. Quilters use flannel fabric to make raggy quilts. This is an absorbent fabric making it ideal for baby items like bibs, clothing, bed clothes, nappys and burp cloths. This is a really lovely fabric to sew with.
It works well with a number of other fabrics, like standard cotton, fleece and plush
